Nellie Ide ('17/Blake) will attend Harvard and be a member of the ski team! She plans to play on Harvard's club lacrosse team in the spring season.

Kate Leavell Joins Coaching Staff

Welcome back to Minnesota Kate! Kate is an Annapolis, MD native where she grew up playing lacrosse, including playing for lax hotbed Severna Park HS and the Maryland Terps Club team. She has coached youth through Varsity programs in Minnesota and Atlanta, and was the Head Coach at Georgia State University, Assistant Coach at Oglethorpe University and Head Coach for the Eaglestix travel team. Kate holds an Exercise Science degree and several NASM fitness and team training certifications. When she's not coaching, Kate is training coaches through US Lacrosse as a National Master Coaches Education and Positive Coaching Alliance trainer or writing about sports culture, coaching and leadership. Her articles on the sport of lacrosse and youth sports are regularly featured on the US Lacrosse Blog and throughout the sports community nationwide. Kate is also a feature writer for the United Women's Lacrosse League (UWLX) and is the author of the Coaches Emergency Practice Guide for girls youth lacrosse. 

Sarah Tilbor Joins Coaching Staff

Welcome Sarah Tilbor to the MN Elite coaching staff! Sarah is an excellent addition for players of all ages in our program, and especially for our goalies and defensive players. Sarah coached several years with Capital Lacrosse Club and Stars Lacrosse in Washington, DC before moving to the Twin Cities. A native of Simsbury, CT Sarah is a 2008 graduate of Washington & Lee University  where she was a starting goalie all four years, an All-American, and became the first women's lacrosse player to receive Goalkeeper of the Year honors from IWLCA, Inside Lacrosse, and Women's Lacrosse. Following graduation from Washington & Lee, Sarah worked as an environmental analyst before starting the MBA program at UVA's Darden School of Business. Sarah moved to Minnesota for her work with Target Corporation. We are thrilled to have Sarah join our staff!
